These terms apply to all visitors to our website and to all customers who retain Napa Masonry and Concrete for masonry or concrete work.
Napa Masonry and Concrete is a licensed masonry contractor based in Napa, CA. We provide masonry and concrete services including, but not limited to: foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, driveway pavers, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, walkway construction, brick wall installation, stone masonry, brick pointing, and related services.
The specific scope of services for any given project is defined by the written estimate or work order provided to the customer before work begins. Services not listed in the written estimate are not included unless agreed to in writing.
Estimates provided by Napa Masonry and Concrete are based on conditions observed during an on-site assessment and information provided by the customer. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted in writing.
An estimate is not a contract. Work will not begin until the customer has reviewed and accepted the written estimate in writing (including by email or electronic signature).
If conditions discovered during the work reveal that additional work is necessary beyond the original scope, we will notify the customer and provide a revised written estimate before proceeding with additional work. We will not perform out-of-scope work without customer approval.
Prices may vary based on material availability, labor market conditions, and site access. Any material price changes that occur between the date of estimate and the start of work will be disclosed to the customer before work begins.
Project start dates are confirmed in writing after the estimate is accepted. Napa Masonry and Concrete will make reasonable efforts to begin work on the confirmed date. Delays caused by weather, permit processing times, material supply issues, or other circumstances outside our control do not constitute a breach of these terms.
If the customer needs to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered may result in a restocking fee or material cost recovery charge, which will be communicated to the customer in advance.
Napa Masonry and Concrete reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a project due to unsafe site conditions, non-payment, or other circumstances that make it impractical to proceed. We will provide the customer with as much advance notice as possible.
Payment terms are outlined in the written estimate for each project. Typical terms include a deposit at the time of scheduling, with the balance due upon project completion. Specific terms may vary based on project size and scope.
Payment is due in full upon project completion unless a payment schedule has been agreed to in writing. Accepted payment methods will be stated in the estimate.
Accounts that remain unpaid beyond 30 days of the due date may be subject to late fees and collection activity. Napa Masonry and Concrete reserves the right to place a mechanic lien on the property in accordance with California lien law in the event of non-payment.
Napa Masonry and Concrete will obtain any required building permits for structural or permitted work as specified in the written estimate. Permit fees are either included in the estimate or listed separately. We do not perform structural work that requires a permit without obtaining that permit.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the proposed work does not violate any applicable homeowners association rules, easements, or deed restrictions. We will perform the work in accordance with applicable building codes and standards.
Napa Masonry and Concrete stands behind the quality of its workmanship. Any warranty on labor and materials will be stated in the written estimate or work order for the specific project. Warranty terms vary based on the type of work performed and the materials used.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, extreme weather, tree root intrusion, soil movement beyond normal seasonal variation, or modifications made to the work by the customer or a third party after project completion.
Except as stated in a written warranty provided with a specific project, all services are provided "as is" and Napa Masonry and Concrete makes no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Napa Masonry and Concrete will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to services provided or the use of this website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to any customer for any claim arising out of a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by that customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
The customer is responsible for providing clear and safe access to the work area, including removing personal property, vehicles, or obstructions as directed. Failure to provide adequate access may result in delays or additional charges.
The customer is responsible for disclosing any known conditions that may affect the work, including the location of underground utilities, prior repairs, or existing damage not visible during the site assessment.
